"Lovngrandma" from Kansas sent a fun and funky bright fabric that has horses on it.  I added coordinating brights, and made her a Slanted Diamonds block, link below.  Hope she likes it!  :-)  (I have a VERY hard time with blocks that aren't perfectly symmetrical in color and design.  I like balance!  LOL!)

Another Quilt Top For A Charity Quilt

Here's a quilt top I just finished.  It'll be donated to charity once I get it quilted.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the center blocks have pretty princesses on them, along with an occasional cute toad!  :-)

Boomerang 9 Swap - Pacific Group - MissGiggleWings

"MissGiggleWings" from Texas sent an F8 with roses and butterflies on it.  Gorgeous!  The block I made her is my own invention that I'm calling Jacob's Wheel, and is a variation of the Jacob's Ladder block.  Some of the butterflies are golden in color, so I matched them with a gold tonal fabric.  Hope she likes it!  :-)

Boomerang 9 Swap - Pacific Group - ArizonaKAT

"ArizonaKAT" from Arizona sent a white-on-white tonal fabric, and asked that a two-toned (green/green, red/red, etc.) fabric be added.  I found a pink tonal fabric, and "invented" my own block.  It started out with the same components as a Jacob's Ladder block, but I rearranged the 9-patch to create a different pattern.  I'll call it Jacob's Wheel. :-)


Lookie at the gorgeous block she sent me, sewn on her 1951 Singer Featherweight! :-)

Boomerang 9 Swap - Pacific Group - Country1

"Country1" from Kentucky sent a fun fabric with spools of thread on it.  Some of the thread was a gold color, so I matched it with a gold tonal fabric.  The pattern is my own invention that I'm calling Jacob's Wheel, and is a variation of the Jacob's Ladder block.

Boomerang 9 Swap - Pacific Group - RoseySue

"RoseySue" from California sent a gorgeous purple floral fabric.  There were no requests, so I added two coordinating purples and a tonal white/gray floral background, and created a Dresden Plate block.  Hope she likes it!  :-)  The pattern is from the booklet included with the Dresden Plate template, but it could probably be found online somewhere.
